We are excited to share news about our new Eco-Mission in collaboration with the Goa State Pollution Control Board (GSPCB), GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit) and EU-Resource Efficiency. This remarkable organization is dedicated to enforcing pollution control measures, monitoring environmental quality and promoting sustainable development in the state of Goa in India. Their primary aim is to prevent and control pollution of water, air and land ensuring a clean and healthy environment for the residents of Goa.
“Raising consumer engagement and responsible behavior is crucial for addressing concerns due to littering, which will be addressed through the ZeLoop App.” – Ms. Mehar Kaur, Junior Advisor, EU-REIC(GIZ)
The objective of this Eco-Mission is to incentivize users who deposit plastic waste, such as discarded fishing nets, plastic wrappers and bottles, into designated bins instead of littering them on the streets or beaches of Goa. Users can participate in the Eco-Mission by scanning the QR code on designated bins, capturing a photograph of the plastic waste they wish to dispose and placing the waste in the bins. The users gain access to the app’s functionalities through India, enabling them to map new bins, engage in plogging activities (collecting as much litter as possible whilst running/walking), earn reward points and redeem them in the marketplace.
By participating in the Eco-Mission, the top 5 collectors can win exciting cash prizes, courtesy of Landbell GreenForest Solutions.
ZeLoop is thrilled to be working with organizations like GSPCB, GIZ and EU-Resource Efficiency to make a positive impact on the environment. Small action can make a big difference in creating a greener and cleaner world. Stay tuned for more updates on the ZeLoop App and Eco-Missions!
